TrueForm Compression Stockings
TruForm Stockings take muscle strength to put on, but once they are on, they reduce swelling from edema and improve the appearance of varicose veins. My vein specialist was going to charge for wrapping each leg with compression bandages. However, when he saw the improvement from the compression stockings, he said to continue with compression stockings. The bandages were to be on for three days, removed, and then checked and rebandaged. I told the vein specialist I could accomplish the same thing following the same schedule with compression stockings Cost was $150 each time for leg wrapping. I was to be scheduled for vein strip surgery after swelling from edema subsided. That is no longer deemed necessary. Surgery has been canceled for now.
