This mug is exactly like the one I received many years ago during a hospital stay. I have used it for cold water every single day since. That mug started to get a bit banged up after years of use and a couple of mishaps with a cat fulfilling its obligation to knock things to the floor. I have tried for so long to find a replacement and was stunned that this one is completely the same save for the purely cosmetic difference in color, and the lack of hospital branding. I ordered one, was thrilled, and just brought the second one I ordered into the house. As a hospital type mug, it is covered, holds a lot of liquid, and is very stable and difficult to knock over, unless your cat is feeling mischievous :0)

all the time everytime yes!!! my mother inlaw is very picky about her coffee, she got used to drinking her coffee in her old hospital cups. when they got too gross and yucky, panic ensued. regular mugs arent big enough, she needs a lid because she shakes same with the handle. after 3 different hour searches and 2 other cups that were total no goes we found these beauties. love at first sight. it is exactly the same as the old hospital cups love love love will be buying more soon. we make 5 coffees a day sometimes more and these have held up for months and dont ask me how i know but its you accidentally press your cigarette against it it doesnt immediately make a hole another gaint plus in our book. 10/10 will buy more as back ups in case they stop selling these.
