There are just two of us now and I had wanted to downsize from my 6.5 quart for awhile. This Hamilton Beach is the perfect size for a 4-pound chicken, a 2-pound roast, veggie soups and just anything and everything that you simply want to make smaller portions of. Highly recommend.

Absolutely FANTASTIC !!!

I was a little skeptical about this product at first because of the low price but after speaking with my daughter about hers, I was sold on it. This has to be one of my better purchases on Walmart.com. I didn't think any "slow" cooker could come close to an original "Crock Pot" but boy, was I ever wrong. This one is FANTASTIC. Slow, even cooking and clean-up is a snap. I use mine 2-3 times per week. Built very well and attractive too. No doubt, this cooker will last a very long time with proper care. I highly recommend this product to anyone...

Perfect size , no indicator light

I wanted this in BLACK, but it costs twice as much as the exact same model in the brushed stainless model . Why black ? I like the looks better and it matches my Bunn speed brew coffee maker ! The only thing I really wish Hamilton Beach would include is the red indicator light letting you know that the unit is ON , but none of thier crockpots have one !
