I installed three Coolaroo exterior shades on my second-floor windows here in Arizona, and the difference is immediate. They cut a ton of direct sun, and the bedrooms are noticeably cooler during peak heat—less strain on the AC and way more comfortable. Working well so far. The instructions were easy enough. I put two next to each other so they were easy to switch the poles to the other side to prevent a gap. It's early spring, but they are blocking the sun well enough so far. Good for the price.
