Moen Engage Magnetix 6-Setting Combo Rain Shower, Spot Resist Brushed Nickel

After 7 years, the shower head plastic squirters started falling apart. Probably due to the chlorine in the water. Paid $133 in 2017 and now it's not doubled in price like most things. I owned the "09" version which allows more water flow, but this time I opted for the "10" version, since we like to run both the main shower and the handheld in place at the same time. For the price, this is a very nice shower head. There has been no changes I could see in my 7 year old unit and today's unit. Took me about 5 minutes to install. Expect it to last 5-7 years. It's all plastic, no metal at all. But the only parts that had issues were the soft plastic nozzles in the main head that hardened, degraded and broke off. We use soft water, so no issues due to hard water; suspect it was the high chlorine levels of city water. The main head rises above the shower pipe, allowing tall people to get a decent shower, while the handheld is NOT attached above the head like so many. The hand held is the best part. It first hangs below the main shower head, so my short wife can easily reach it. Second, it had lots of settings. Multiple normal shower settings with more and less shooters will increase/decrease pressure. Then, it has 2 pressure squirter settings; one that is a continuous stream and the other (that I really like) does a pulse squirt through the center of the handheld. As for which version to get... After using both, I recommend the "10" lower usage version, but is probably a personal choice.

We had one upstairs from Menards. One of the combination (both over head and additional pull down) that worked perfect. Great pressure. Easy to use. Helps with cleaning the shower. When put new shower in another bath area, tried another bit wanted the same. The first was from menards but didn't have the time. Checked with my Walmart plus and it was 20-30 cheaper than amazon. And also cheaper than menards! And sold by Walmart, not private seller. Now have better water pressure and easier to clean new shower!
