The patient alarm immediately alerts caregivers when a patient tries to leave the bed by sounding an alarm when pressure is removed from the sensor pad. The alarm will automatically reset when the patient returns to the pad. Alternatively, the bed exit alarm can be silenced via the tamper-resistant three-second-hold reset feature.

It is designed with an incontinent-proof, latex-free cover material that is comfortable for the user, especially when placed underneath the top bed sheet. The sensor pad can be folded without damage for easy storage. Unlike competitor sensor pads, our bed sensor pad features a durable metal connecting pin that will not break, unlike the easily breakable plastic connectors found on other sensors.

The 14BSET-1Y bed alarm is a highly effective monitoring device that alerts caregivers when an elderly dementia patient tries to leave their bed. This is an ideal solution for protecting the elderly, seniors, bedridden, fall-risk patients, residents, and loved ones. The alarm immediately alerts caregivers when an attempt is made to leave the bed. The SUA-1Y alarm monitor connects to the bed sensor pad and sounds an alarm in the patient's room when pressure is removed from the sensor pad. The SUA-1Y alarm monitor automatically resets when the patient returns to the sensor pad, or the alarm can be reset using the tamper-resistant three-second-press reset feature. For patient safety, the SUA-1Y Alarm Monitor is tamper-resistant and always on (with no unsafe on/off switch that would enable the patient to disable the alarm). The alarm monitor features a flashing alert light, a low battery indicator light, and an 80 dB alarm sound. The bed pressure sensor pad is ultra-thin, measuring 12" x 30", and features incontinent-proof, latex-free cover material. The sensor pad is comfortable and durable for continuous use and can be folded without damage for storage. It features a durable metal connecting pin that will not break (other brands use plastic connectors that easily break). The bed alarm set includes a SUA-1Y Alarm Monitor, an AMH-1Y Alarm Holder with a Velcro Mounting Strap, a 12" x 30" Bed Sensor Pad, and a 9V Battery.
