I did not buy these to use as placemats. I got them to line a small bookshelf and to use as doilies. These mats are easy to cut so you can cut out shapes and such and make them your own. I have one on top of the microwave to keep it free of scratches/dust. I really love the deep blue color. To clean them I just swish them around in sudsy water and air dry. These placemats are very practical and are a good purchase.

I bought these for my sister and her husband, they use placemats for all their meals. They love them! The placemats stay nice and flat, and are easy to clean. I bought them two sets, one in beige/white and one in sage green. They are really nice!! My sister also uses them for dice games. You can get an even roll on the mat, but it muffles the noise while playing.
