Very poor value for the money

This product is outrageously priced. It is basically a narrow box with painted wood, a poor finish, and poor fit. Why did I buy it? It was the only thing that would fit the space that we have. Why did I not return it? We had already altered the wall to accept the cabinet. Oh, one positive, the self-closing hinges work well. But the shelves, which are not very secure, are too wide for the case and therefore there is a gap between the door and the case when closed. I just wish there had been an alternative, any alternative, and we would have returned the four we purchased.
