Johnson's Moisturizing Pink Baby Lotion with Coconut Oil, 10.2 fl. oz

Johnson Moisturizing Baby Lotion is probably the most recognized baby lotion there is and it certainly has a great fragrance. I raised my children on it and I chose this lotion because I have grandchildren that come somewhat frequently and a couple of them come for the summer; p.s. they are here now lol. So what makes this one different is that it has coconut oil in it. Now this bottle has a new shape and a new top that cannot be opened. Upon using it I found that the fragrance I expected from the pink bottle is fainter than usual and I assumed that is because of the coconut oil. However it still has the nice smooth feel and moisturizing as always. Well after using it, it's not going to be for the grandchildren only but for grandma too. I like it and left it out on the bathroom counter so all can use it. This baby lotion is not for the little babies only but for us grown ones too :-).

When the box arrived in the mail, I could smell the fragrance from the lotion outside of the box. I loved the way it smelled. It has a very clean, gentle, fresh scent that was not overpowering. The new labels on the bottle are a softer look, a sweeter baby style I think.I like the new dispensing pump, it just twists to open, and to the right to close. The pump works well, dispensing a fair amount of lotion. The lotion itself seems to be a bit thinner than the original baby lotion, which I think was too creamy. The new brand of lotion is more absorbent, and doesn't just sit on the skin. We had actually stopped using Johnson's baby lotion a few years ago, and opted to use a competitor's brand for a few reasons. One of the main reasons is because it was not moisturizing. It smelled good, and felt good with a creamy texture, but it did not absorb, and moisturize adequately. In fact it seemed a little harsh on our grand baby's skin. I also did not like the fact that we were unable to find the exact ingredients for the fragrance with the old brand. We are a family with huge allergies, and need to know what we consume, and use in our daily lives. I went on line and checked to see if the fragrance ingredients were available with the new brand, and they were. I appreciate that, it's hard to make a conscience decision to use, when you don't know what the ingredients are. I also appreciate that coconut oil is a main ingredient. Coconut oil is very moisturizing, and does not leave a film like other types of oils do. I highly recommend this new and very improved baby lotion, especially if you had given up on the old brand. I have been using it for a few days now as my daily moisturizer, and it has been a good 24 hour moisturizer, and I love the lighter scent.
