this toy can be for any gendered person. it is better quality than i thought it would be and more durable than i thought it would be. our niece is autistic and 5 years old. she was able to play with the remote that controls the toy easily, though she could not get interested in the food treats the toy can be given that sets a mode that needs to be adjusted with instructions. my niece has long hair that became tangled (a few strands; no injury) in the rotating wheels. the instructions warn against this, so please be aware to tie back long hair when operating the toy.
