Under his new record label GMG (Get Money Gang), a subsidiary of EMI/Capitol Records, Twista is now completely in control of his music. For Twista's new album, Category F5, he makes sure to cater to both the mainstream audience that embrace his pop smashes, and the underground that love his lyrical blackouts. Production wise he worked with long-time collaborators Toxic and Legendary Traxter, as well as working with producers such as Jim Jonsin, Young World and SteetRunner for the first time. His guest list is equally impressive with everyone from R. Kelly to Akon to Busta Rhymes to Fat Joe making appearances. The first single, "Wetter" is a smooth ditty to the joys of living the lavish life, while Bobby V checks in with an irresistible hook on the Jim Jonslin-porduced up-tempo tribute to fast girls. Also making F5 a worthy addition to Twista's discography is his work with the recently deceased Static Major ("Gotta Get Me One") Twista's sixth album Category F5 will be available everywhere on July 14, 2009.
