Going beyond the boundaries of traditional design, the Capsoil collection combines innovation with retro-style lines. By having its electromechanics completely immersed in an oil bath, U-Boat revolutionizes its creations and retains the brand's solid and unique personality. This fascinating chronograph is a limited edition of only 150 pieces and features a 45 mm titanium case that holds a deep black dial with two superimposed layers affixed with 4 screws under a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal. The dial is filled with a special oil and a visible air bubble that moves around, greatly amplifying its color and legibility, and creating an illusion of a seemingly non-existent crystal. It has black and luminescent baton-style hands with indices and Arabic numerals at the 4, 8, and 12 o'clock positions as hour markers, all treated with beige Super-LumiNova®. Three subdials display a 60-second, 30-minute, and 1/10th of a second counters. This "Destro"(right-handed) chronograph timepiece is equipped with a protected screw-down crown on the left side flanked with pushers and an underside engraving of its limited edition number. Fitted with a black rubber strap and secured by a matching titanium buckle, giving off a durable look. This watch also features a solid caseback with an innovative locking system and a quick battery replacement hatch which encases a reliable Swiss electro-mechanical movement, is lubricated with oil bath, and is water-resistant up to 100 meters/330 feet. When off the wrist, this watch should be kept at an optimal temperature between 0°C up to +60°C and away from direct sunlight or any heat source for too long.

A watch brand founded out of Italy's Tuscany region 23 years ago, U-Boat is a company based in a country "villa" within Gragnano's hills, a land of marvelous inspiration for founder, Italo Fontana.
