This item requires testing before use. the only issue is the product doesn't supply any of the testing material. even the cheapest $10.00 PH tester gives you the testing supplies needed for testing. this product gives absolutely nothing for testing which is required before using. not to mention it gives no indication to where you can purchase such testing supplies on the box or in the lackluster so called instruction manual that came with the product. the instruction manual if you can call it that, consist of a single piece of paper measuring 6in x 5 1/2 inches. better hope you have a magnifying glass to read it at times. the funny thing is most of the instructions are for how to test the product before use. even though they supply no testing Soulutions with the product. One would think it would mention that in the ad for the product. not to mention it showed up almost two weeks later then it said it would arrive now I have to order testing solutions to be able to even use the product. what a shame as I said you can order the cheapest unit from Wal-Mart, and it comes with the proper testing solutions. just be prepared if you order this you are going to need to purchase other products before you can even use it.
