Good for quick eye-makeup application

I use this stick if I don't want to go full-monty w/ the base, shadow, high-lighting, etc. All I do is a quick line and smudge it in. You do have to be quick with the smudging, as it dries in place rather fast. Esp. because this is the black one...I don't want it to look too severe. First I do one top lid; smudge, then the next; smudge, then one bottom lid; smudge...like that. Also I live in AZ, and though I'm older and shouldn't have this problem, my eye makeup will just slide off, unless I have a pencil like this, or use a good sticky base w/thick shadow on top....like NYX's Jumbo Pencil w/ their matte shadows on top. It IS the sweatiest place in the nation after all!

I was so excited when these stick shadows launched and I saw them on display at my local Ulta. I purchased 5 of them in the store and ordered the rose gold one here online. These shadows are phenomenal! They stay put all day long without creasing, smudging or flaking. They will be perfect during the hot summer months. More colors please! A purple would be awesome. Also more matte shades would really be appreciated.

Amazing!

These are AMAZING! I own all of the colors and love each I them! They have become my favorite products in my whole makeup collection. They are soo pigmented and literally stay on ALL day. Even on hot days they don't crease, smear, or dull. You could use them as a base for a pressed eyeshadow, however they don't need it! The color payoff is just fantastic, especially the ones with a slight shimmer are perfect for all over the lid. My only con is that they haven't made even more colors yet!! (:
