Oak sewing cabinet
I am enjoying my new treadle cabinet. The shipping packaging was very good quality! The treadle operates easily and the cabinet is very stable because of the solid wood. Thank you for not using MDF (pressed wood). I have found that the drawers are a little two narrow to easily accommodate the width of a woman's hand, but are still usable. The hinges for the front tip out drawer are far too powerful and the drawer tips out too far so the contents spill out easily. It helps if you install felt kitchen cabinet bumper pads so it does not close so loudly. Despite these small design flaws, I would highly recommend this cabinet. We are seeking professional advice to find appropriate similar hinges that will be easier to open to maximize my use of this cabinet.
