Alternative to alendronate
My nurse practitioner and I discussed the benefits of taking strontium for bone health as an alternative to alendronate. I've been on alendronate for over 2 years and am concerned about its' long term effects. We decided on a plan for me to try alendronate 35mg weekly along with strontium 340mg daily. This replaced my old regimen of alendronate 70mg weekly. I've been happier with this change and hope that my next bone density scan shows improvement.

Good For Bone Health
Stontium is yet another good bone-health nutraceutical, that has scientific reports to back this claim. It supposedly assists in bone mineralization.\n\nMost bone-health supplements do not contain strontium. This is because, according to claims, strontium needs to be taken separately from calcium supplements. Swanson again provides great value.\n\nI recommend this product for a complete and well-rounded bone-health supplementation regimen.
