color deceiving

I read previous reviews before taking a chance on ordering. I normally wear a 1 or 2x and read they run small, so I ordered a 4x and it's still a little tight over my backend. The color of green that is shown on the site is misleading. It's a very dark green...almost not a green but I don't know how to describe the color. I chose to keep the pants as I'm trying to loose weight and know they'll fit better when I do.
