Why the flaps?

I had a great cover and decided to get another. My RV dealer didnt have any so I shopped online. What the picture doesn't show you is the flaps that are velcroed in place which makes wrinkles and pockets that catch leaves and such. I guess you put the flaps down when you want light. Why the flaps? Not happy with it but it still blocks the light and provides privacy.

Fit not perfect

Using cover for a 2020 high top transit. The coverage is short about an inch on the driver/pass sides. Its tight getting on. The windshield is covered good. I give it a 3 for fit. It does say only for 2018 year, but it does work.
