Last year of the best shoe… newer version is a NO

My fav 5k shoe. I won't buy the newer generation as it feels like a totally diff shoe and is NOT the 860s of years past. Now, I will need to find a new shoe once my 869v13 wear out. I've seen other complaints to NB online about the awful changes, but looks like NB will continue to lose 20 yr customers vs. listening 👂 I tried on new version and walked away. All cushioning and felt very unstable under my foot. 🦶 New Balance… are you listening???

A stability shoe is not just for runners

I need a shoe with stability due to spinal stenosis. The NB860 is a great shoe for this issue. Do I miss wearing cute sandals, flats and flip flops? Yes I do and I can wear flats but not for hours on end. I buy the 860 in different colors so I can coordinate them with what I am wearing. I will be 76 years old next month and want be able to walk without assistance (cane; walker) for as long as possible. I believe this shoe is helping me with that.
