Great for a stubborn cough.
I know this stuff doesn't taste that good but we found a new use for this product. My wife and I had a terrible cough that lasted weeks during the Christmas holidays last year and NOTHING worked. Not even prescription meds. It seemed like we had this constant tickle in our throats that we could not get rid of. We were going with little sleep due to coughing all night long and then I tried this. It's numbing effect kicked in almost immediately and we didn't need to use very much. Just a spray or two. Worked great! I know that's not what it is supposed to be used for and we do use it for sore throats but it was a lifesaver for us with that cough. It would last about 4 hours and then we would need it again but it really helped.

Also a go to for me. School kids always seem to catch everything going around, so I keep this on hand for me. When my throat starts feeling scratchy I take this right off. DO NOT Swallow. Spray in the throat, let it set for 10-15 seconds and spit it out. Starts feeling better right away. If your throat continues to get scratchy for several days probably need to see a doctor.
