I have had the D5000 for 3 weeks now and love it I used it with the 18-55 vr at my sons graduation and the shots down on the field came out exelent just had to crop some. Also first camera I have ever been able to shoot lightning with. Exelent purchace cant wait to get new zoom lens to go with it.

great photos

This camera has been a dream of mine to own. it shoots great photos... have not used the video feature yet ... I know others have commented about the poor audio with the video feature ... but I am not interested in the audio. I would recommend this to someone who is graduating from a point and shoot camera and wants to get a more professional photo.

Very Pleased

This product lives up to it name. The camera was a gift and it has been used daily. My boys play baseball and I love taking picture of them running and with camera I capture every move which the best feature on this product. I am pleased and very happy with this camera and will never go back to another one...
