Fold: Center food on shiny side. Bring up two sides and fold together in a 1-inch fold. Wrap: Continue folding in narrow folds until paper is wrapped tightly against food. Seal: Turn package over and press out air. Wrap ends of package and seal with freezer tape. Tip: Write the date and what's inside on the dull side so you know what you're keeping nice and fresh. Recommended freezer storage chart for product quality for food safety, freeze foods at or below 0 degrees F: Beef - 6 to 12 months. Ground meats - 3 to 4 months. Fresh pork - 3 to 6 months. Sausage - 1 month. Frankfurters - 1/2 to 1 month. Chicken - 9 to 12 months. Turkey, whole - 6 to 12 months. Fish, lean - 3 to 6 months. Veal - 3 to 4 months. Lamb - 4 to 6 months. Duck, goose, whole - 5 to 6 months. Venison & game - 6 months. Arts & Crafts: Use for sketching, drawing or painting. Quilt Appliques: Draw out a stencil on the freezer paper, pin to fabric, cut and press. Freezer Paper Perfect
Freezer paper is a must have. Those plastic bags never keep frost from forming, freeze paper works like a charm. You find freezer bags everywhere, but not freezer paper. Happy to find Walmart sells it online. Very happy with its durability and easy to rip off of box. Paper is always preferred over plastic which is ruining our planet because it doesn't decompose quickly if ever.
