It holds floss like it's supposed to the gripper for the floss takes a little time to figure out. But it does work like it's supposed to.

I've bought this twice after doing some “research”. The design is unique from every other reusable flossers and does exactly what I want it to. It minimizes waste produced from flossing better than any other, I use maybe 2 inches each time compared to throwing away a plastic flosser or 11 inches of floss. It doesn't use special floss inserts which would defeat the purpose by creating another thing to manufacture and purchase rather than use regular floss like this product. The shape is perfect and the length is something I didn't know I wanted. The huge issue and why I won't buy them again until there is a design or material change is how breakable the ends/clips at the hinges are. Other reviews have mentioned this problem too. First it broke from opening the hinge so I thought I had just been rougher on it than I had realized, and the second time it broke at some point during regular use. You cannot glue it because it's an oral product and the pieces are so small they would not hold under the pressure, otherwise I would just fix it. I would looove to still have one, but I am creating more waste if it will break again. Please please do a redesign strengthening the area or use a metal, this is so close to perfect!!!
