Very Nice, Especially After Using Actives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a K-beauty girl since early 2015, but one step I've never fully adopted involves using wash-off masks. Sheet masks? Absolutely! But wash-offs slow me down in the evening, so I wasn't sure how frequently I'd use the PUR Self Soothing Nourishing Probiotic Mask once I added it to my routine. Four weeks later, I'm officially sold on this extra step – and on this particular mask – and here's why:Leave It On or Wash It Off: When applied after cleansing, the mask immediately has a cooling effect on my skin. I was skeptical about the “no rinse” option, but after 10 minutes on my face, the mask had absorbed completely. Combination or oily-skinned beauties may find this sufficient for the evening. On a few late nights, I used this in lieu of my usual moisturizer, and it did a fairly adequate job of keeping my skin moisturized, but if you have dry skin like I do, I recommend using it as a wash-off mask instead and then applying your normal evening products.Love This After an At Home Peel or Acid Solution: I had an ablative laser treatment in September, so I'm using acids, peels, and Retin A cautiously right now and rinsing them off thoroughly, so I can then boost my skin's moisture with hydrating serums and creams. Lately, I've used the PUR mask after rinsing off one of the above-mentioned products, and my skin hasn't been flaky, red, or irritated. And to be really honest, my skin has looked amazingly calm and plump in the morning. Adding this mask to my already-long routine isn't something I'm ready to do nightly, but three nights a week is well worth the effort.Closing Thoughts: I have never recommended a mask – wash-off or otherwise – as a standalone moisturizing product. That's not its job. But if you're looking to quell redness or skin irritation, this has the right combination of ingredients to do the job AND make your skin feel instantaneously cooler. The best for seasonal transitions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are someone who suffers from super dry skin, especially during the season transitions, this product is a must! I am one who tends to get drier skin during the transition from summer to fall and then winter. This mask has really helped with keeping my skin nourished, balanced and moisturized. Once I've applied it, I literally feel a soothing sensation as if my skin is thanking me. It feels great on the skin, the texture is not heavy at all. I love how it is a versatile product that can be left on as an overnight treatment or used as an overall moisturizer. I have tried it both ways and though I like them both, I slightly prefer the overnight treatment method.
