very large and seems comfortable, nice thickness and my boy seems to love it. the washable cover could have been a bit bigger as it was a bit of a struggle getting the foam into and zipping it but otherwise well made it seems and I would absolutely recommend this for any dog owner especially large breeds as seen in the picture my Anatolian shepherd/Great Pyrenees who is a little over 2 years old and over 150 lbs easy has plenty of room to lay stretch out and enjoy is treats and toys.
