These could work for mtn biking!

Yeah I get it. These are supposed to be hiking pants. Or maybe pants for fishing? I was hoping that I could wear them as mtn biking pants. I was hoping that I could pull them over a pair of knee guards. Well and also over a pair of padded cycling briefsA tYep. They will work just fine in that capacity. I ride in southern Arizona. It doesn't get cold but I was looking for some pants that might provide some level of protection from cactus, rocks, cactus and well cactus. This will not protect me completely from glochids but I think that a) the will not go into my flesh as far and b) the glochids will probably be easier to remove. As an added bonus they are actually nice looking pants. I would totally wear these out to a casual dinner etc.

Great value, comfortable, and well made!

I recently purchased a pair of Hiking Pants. They represent a great value, true to size, light weight, material that is durable, quick drying and slightly stretchy, enough pockets to satisfy any hiker, large belt loops to accommodate a web belt, reinforced knees. They are downright comfortable!!I am a slim person and these pants fit true to size, legs are tapered but not too slim, drape nicely over ankles without bagging.I recommend these technical pants over bulky cotton cargo pants and with a price point under $50, they deserve a five (5) star rating.

Great Pants. Great Value.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well I like these pants. Lightweight. Fast drying. Reinforced gussets. I ordered two pairs for Search and Rescue duty. I will almost certainly order more. They are a bit smaller than I usually get, but I think they are still worth the money I paid.
