Tom's of Maine Naturally Waxed Antiplaque Floss
The Tom's of Maine Naturally Waxed Antiplaque Flat Floss, Spearmint, 32 yd, is different than the other floss's I have used in the past. I do really like this floss because it not only seems more natural, it is more natural. I never have liked the plastic floss as it always seem to cut into my fingers, causes my gums to bleed, and overall just doesn't work well for me. I really appreciate the Tom's of Maine Naturally Waxed Antiplaque Flat Floss because it is more string like and doesn't feel like I am pulling wax paper thru my teeth. It does a great job at removing particles that from my teeth. I love the slight fresh spearmint flavor as I am sure it freshens my breath too. The container snaps close very well and I have no fear of it opening in my handbag.....there's no flaky residue, either. I have not had any issues with it breaking or snapping. Most importantly, it's NATURALLY waxed. FYI, Tom's of Maine does NOT test their products on animals. I appreciate their nature appeal, natural products, and recyclable better for our planet, products.
No-brainer!
This is my first time to try this brand of dental floss. I currently use a waxed floss, and I was curious about how effective this product was. Also the use of the word "Antiplaque" prominently displayed on their packaging piqued my curiosity. I tried this product after eating popcorn which can strand lots of kernel husks in your teeth. This product seemed to grab the husks in the wax coating and remove them without irritating my gums. I tried it again after eating steak which also has a tendency to leave strings of meat in my teeth. Again it grabbed the strings of meat with the waxed filament. It did not fray, break or cut into my gums. Also the spearmint flavor was refreshing. Additionally, on the packaging, it differentiates itself from other products by explaining its claim to be natural and gentle on your teeth and gums. I will buy this brand in the future. To me, it is a no-brainer!

This is a Tom's of Maine Dental Floss This floss is ADA accepted It is a naturally waxed, antiplaque flat floss It removes plaque with an easy glide gentle action It is spearmint flavored It is about 32 yards. A good amount to last for a while It has no artificial colors, flavors, fragrance or preservatives. The natural waxed nylon glides very easily to help remove particles and to thoroughly to help keep your teeth and gums healthy I realy like the spearmint taste I would recommend this floss to anyone who wants to take care of their teeth naturally from a good company
