I had a solar fountain for years and it was time to purchase another one. This fountain is beautiful, the turtles on the side are adorable. The birds love it, too. There is a hole on bottom of pedestal so I turned it upside down and added sand and pea grav to keep it sturdy. I put mesh that is used for patching holes over hole and Gorilla Waterproof Tape on top. Viola, it helps keep small animals from toppling it over. I love it, worth the price! In fact, my previous fountain was from same company and lasted 13 years.
