It has episodes, actual stories from books that are read to you and let's your child build his own engine. My 3 year old loves everything Thomas and this movie was just one more thing he loves

Best buy for Thomas and Friends fans!

I didn't know that these Thomas and Friends went back this far. This is one of the first videos from the early 90's, I believe, and they are super cute. George Carlin is the voice of all the characters. I have other Thomas and Friends dvds and books. This one has the same stories as the Thomas Big Story Book, which is one of my son's favorite books. Before every episode they feature kids from a Day Out with Thomas, which is still an event where kids can get a ride on Thomas the tank engine, like a festival for kids every year. There is one in Strasburg, PA, but I found one in Philipsburg, NJ that is closer to where I live, this summer. I would have never known that if not for this dvd which features that event from years ago that is a tradition now for kids each summer. We watch this dvd every day if not more. Both my 3-year-old and my 10-month-old boys love these Thomas and Friends dvds. I cannot say that about many other shows. Will be purchasing many more in the future!
