Miracle at St. Anna (Blu-ray)

This is one of Spike Lee's best movies. I am a World War II history buff and this film was well-researched as far as the location and historical events of the time. This film could easily match Saving Private Ryan, even though the story is fictionalized. The best aspect of this particular film to me is that this movie portrayed the African American perspective of soldiers. It is sad that so many heroes paid the ultimate sacrifice, while others faced peril and still faced racial prejudice before and after the war. This Blu-Ray is a bargain at $8.00+.

The plot of the movie always amazes me every time I watch it, this is truly one of Spike Lee's best films. The sound and picture quality are top notch as expected. If you're into war movies with a message and awesome action...miracle at st. anna should be in your blu ray collection.
