Hootie & the Blowfish's Series of Short Trips contains 14 songs, from their major-label debut, Cracked Rear View, and its follow-up, Fairweather Johnson. The environment of the DVD will be enjoyed by fans of the band: Mark, Dean, Darius, and Soni are sitting around the breakfast table reflecting on their rise to superstardom, touring, and the various video shoots for the records. Their passion for the band and the fun they had on their fast rise up the charts is in full force. The videos of their first album's major hits are here, including "Hold My Hand," "Let Her Cry," "Only Wanna Be With You," and "Time." Videos from Fairweather Johnson include "Old Man & Me," "Tucker's Town," "Sad Caper," "Honeyscrew," "She Crawls Away," and "Be the One." Rare Hootie songs also making an appearance are "16 Runners and No Jim Beam" and three songs that would eventually make it onto the band's rarities album, Scattered, Smothered and Covered: "I'm Over You," "Araby," and "Before the Heartache Rolls In."
