I did not read the disclaimer in the description that the beads were really small, so I was surprised when I got them and saw the size of the beads-but that was my fault, not theirs. After having them for a few days, I actually prefer the smaller size; it looks nice wrapped 3 times around the wrist. I think bigger beads would have been bulkier than I would have liked-so it all worked out in the end. My wrist measures about 6 inches and the beads wrap loosely 3 times around, so they're very comfortable to wear. However, if your wrist measures larger, these may get to be a little too tight three times around-but you can always just use it as a necklace. The color is a rich red-brown, a tad darker than pictured. Overall, I'm very happy with them.

Whatever ink or stain that was used to color the beads comes off on skin when worn for any length of time. Okay for prayer, but I wouldn't wear them.
