At first I loved this feeder station. It cleaned up our messy feeding area and provided extra storage for our dog's various items. Quickly though I noticed several cons and room for improvement. First, the drawer slide is plastic and the food/water bowl tray easily falls off. The food/water bowl tray is also particle board and unless your dog never drips a drop of water, you will quickly notice that it will deform. The food storage is great, but be mindful that the food is not in a sealed container. I did know this but didn't think about keeping the food fresh or keeping bugs out (thankfully have not had an issue yet). It would be great if there was a food container insert with a lid. The food container is also not easily removable to clean out when adding a new bag of food. Finally, the cam locks on the food container recently starting coming loose (after only 5months). This has resulted in food falling inside the cabinet and we had to completely take it apart to clean out the spilt food. Bottom line: good idea for a way to make your dog feeding area look nicer, but the design needs improvement. Note: I researched other feeder stations and pretty much all the other ones out there around this price point will have similar issues.
