  • Our Airway Buffing Wheels are made up of 16 plys of cotton specially mounted to a steel ring center to create pleats in the cotton surface. The pleats allow the buffing wheel to run cooler and in turn keep the surface being polished cooler. This allows you to polish longer than a standard buff.
  • Diameter: 10” | Hole: ¾” | Thickness: ¾” | Ply count: 16 | 100% cotton.
  • Airway buffs are generally used in place of standard spiral sewn buffing wheels. The stiffness of these Airway buffs are similar to spiral sewn buffing wheels.
  • Airway Buffing Wheels should not be spun faster than 3,600 RPM. Can be used with any polishing compound.
  • To apply polishing compounds, simply spin the buffing wheel on a motor or drill and gently press the compound to the wheel. The heat and friction of the spinning wheel will be enough to transfer a small amount of the compound onto the wheel for polishing.
