Filter Cartridge, Demineralization 1 filter Item HS-1931. Fits Models: EE-4094; EE-4109; EE-5063. Filters water. Eliminates white dust. Helps reduce white dust, which is a deposit of minerals caused by hard water. For best results replace filter after every 30-40 fillings under normal use or 1-2 months or when the humidifier has not been operated for an extended period of time. Made in China. To install, simply place filter into empty water basin of the humidifier right onto the small pin. Wait fifteen minutes for the water to pass through the filter before re-starting the humidifier. I have very hard water where I live and this really helped. I used it for the hello kitty humidifier for my daughter. I replace the filter every 2-3 months. Definitely makes cleaning the humidifier easier as well.
