The set up: This is for you if you love to tinker with gadgets without instructions. I have quite a bit experience with tents and strange cots and in order to set this up I had to go back to the purchase photos and look very carefully at the cross bar set up. Note and Hint: make sure the cross bar bows upward. The next step assembling the crossbars and legs takes dexterity and strength. You have one side of each crossbar with a lever. This makes sure the cot is tight. Once done, place the 12 legs in their holes. Make sure to push them all the way, otherwise as soon as you move the cot they will all fall out! Once you are done with the cot, the tent set up seems like a breeze, and with basic camping smarts it should be. The fly can be added as needed This set up is roomy for one person. Make sure the tent is tied down. The cot and tent set up is quite nice in my Canyon environment. It was worth the work.
