His recent career is shared as luxury side man in Richard Galliano's projects and as leader in some groups of the last Italian jazz wave. This new project is entirely focused on his attention to the latest Italian jazz generations. quot;I love to let them coming up like buddies of flowers when we improvise - Mauro Negri usually says during some interviews - and my attempt is to be helpfull with them as Enrico Rava was with many young musicians, introducing them to the Italian jazz audiencequot;. So, a new group was born, which reveals the secret nature of Mauro: to grow and guide the new Italian jazz buds. All tracks have been composed by Mauro Negri expressly for this Quartet, except quot;Round About Midnightquot; by T. Monk and quot;Fra' Martino Campanaroquot;, a traditional folk song. On this CD we find a Special Guest exceptional 'Antonio Faraò' to the Piano.
