it was so cool

This game is like a harvest moon game but you get to fight monsters in the ruins and plant crops, learn magic and more.

A tranquil game

Rune Factory Frontier offers a lot and it accommodates to nearly any kind of players. The series finally debuts on a console and it gets nearly everything done correctly on such transition. Rune Factory is mainly a farming simulator game but it also offers social interactions with villagers, adventure, dungeon exploration, story and more! As a newly arrival to the town of Trampoli, your mission is to look for a missing friend. After that, you are free to do whatever you wish. Maybe you feel like farming, taking care of monsters, exploring dungeons, fishing, cooking, forging weapons etc. Whatever you wish to do, this game probably lets you so. If I were to pick on the negatives, I would say the game suffers from repetitive animation that cannot be skipped. There's a weapon, if you could call it that, if accidentally triggered, takes about 3 seconds to conclude. Gets bothersome after a while. Sometimes you may feel like the game lacks progression since you might find yourself doing the same tasks over and over without developing the plot. Just keep in mind that in order to progress in the story, you need to keep villagers happy and set aside some time for dungeon exploration even if that means letting go of your farming obsession for a couple of days. Overall the game is a fantastic addition to the Wii's library and will for sure keep you busy due to it's gigantic replay value.

A Gem of a Game!

I originally bought this game for my niece for her birthday but after watching her play it I got to play some myself and...wow. It's the most fun, addiciting, and beautiful game I've ever seen for the Wii. It's so peaceful and satisfying to create your farm AND you get to go fight monsters on a flying whale island! I don't play games much (our Wii is usually just for parties) but I liked it so much that after playing my niece's I bought one for myself. Best money I ever spent and according to my 15year old niece, best gift ever. :) A win all around!
