This compartment is constructed out of beige and dark brown marine grade plastic. It measures approximately 16 3/8" W x 15" D x 7 1/2" H overall. It mounts with (6) 3/16" Dia. mounting holes. The opening dimensions are approximately 13 1/2" L x 8 1/4" W and the inside dimensions are approximately 13 1/2" W (tapering to 12 1/2" at the bottom) x 12" H (tapering to 11" at the bottom) x 6 1/2" D. with a cutout of Cutout: 14 1/4" W x 13" D x 7" H.
