The color is lovely. Kind of a muted sage green. The bench is very roomy. I can fit my duvet in it with a couple of pillows. It's sturdy enough to sit on and the velvet is soft. My only complaint is that the legs are a little short and it didn't look good at the end of my bed being so much shorter than the bed. I bought replacement legs that were longer so that it would be more in line with the height of my bed. I'm happy with it despite the short legs.
