Cuisinart Classic Food Processor, 7-Cup

This is my first full size food processor. (I have a mini one). I am so pleased with it so far. It is so much quieter than I thought it would be, and powerful, while the footprint is smaller than I would expect. It does the work so fast it surprises me every time! I thought the 7 cups was going to be a lot, but I find that I would have bought a larger one if I knew then what I know now about my use of the product. I have used it to chop veggies, grate cabbage for making sauerkraut and slicing raw potatoes for scalloped potatoes. More capacity wouldn't have been bad. Still it is fine, it just requires emptying sooner than I expected. Plan ahead so you have a place to store the sharp discs, and the extra lid, that is one thing I had to figure out because I didn't think of it when purchasing.

I recently purchased the Cuisinart Pro Classic 7 Cup Food Processor. This was a necessary replacement to my 39 y/o Cuisinart Food Processor that recently started failing. This workhorse is valuable in my kitchen. I use it regularly throughout the year but abuse it during the fall as I process my garden crops. I was ecstatic to find I could purchase the same model.
