- Reported to be the most powerful Phase III Corvette® from MOTION PERFORMANCE when it was built, this Fathom Green 1969 Corvette® was developed by Joel Rosen to meet the dreams of a returning Vietnam veteran. After reading about the Phase III Corvettes® in car magazines he developed a very specific idea of what he wanted in his personal street machine:
- 10 second quarter mile
- Capable of cruising at 120 mph
- 160 mph top end
- Starting with a brand new 427 powered Stingray purchased at a nearby Chevy® dealership, MOTION PERFORMANCE pulled the original drivetrain and built the ultimate 1969 MOTION Phase III 482 Corvette®:
- Bored out, balanced and blueprinted Chevy® big block displacing 482 cubic inches making 600 horsepower
- Hurst shifted 4 speed transmission with Hone auxiliary overdrive transmission that reduced the 5.13 rear gears to 3.60 to 1 in the top gear for highway cruising
- Exterior customs included the Phase III hood, headers feeding side exhaust pipes and custom wheels
- Limited Edition. Only 1500 produced worldwide.
- Each car is individually numbered.
- Has steerable wheels.
- Brand new box.
- Rubber tires.
- Has opening hood and doors.
