Not durable for desert climate

Although the Milo chaise lounges are very attractive and comfortable, I would caution anyone who lives in a desert climate against purchasing without covering diligently when not in use. I received the chairs in April 2022 (it is now August 2023) and the wicker on top of one of the chairs is already disintegrating (see photos). As a desert native, I don't expect items to have extremely long lives in the hot sun and heat, but you hope for at least 3-4 years of use. These will not be usable beyond this season. If you decide to purchase these chairs and live in a hot, dry climate, please consider purchasing covers for them, as well, or store them under cover when not in use. You will need to ensure they are protected from the sun to the greatest extent possible if you want to have multiple years of use. Again, comfortable, good-looking chairs, but the wicker does not hold up in the desert heat.
