Not December birthstone.

I wanted to get a ring with a sapphire-colored stone for my girlfriend (whose birthday is on Christmas). Although the ring is beautiful, the stone appears to be more purplish than blue upon receiving it. The photo on the Walmart website is a bit deceiving I must say.
