The boxes fit all of my dress shoes and many of my casual shoes. They will not work for things like hiking boots, but I did not expect them to. I have them stacked 3 high with a pair of shoes sitting on the top box and they are fine. Closet looks nice and neat.

One suggestion would be for the end flaps where you pull the shoes out to be clearer plastic, not the textured, for just a little easier ID of contents; changing just that end wouldn't compromise the sturdiness the texture lends.
