We used to play Farkle alot and then it kind of took a backseat to other games. Recently, we were re-introduced to it and I don't think we will ever put it away! The kids are older now and the game is a LOT louder in our house :). Everyone is always daring the roller to "keep rolling!" so we have a lot more Farkles in our games than we used to ... so much so that the word "Farkle" has become part of our vocabulary! It's not "strike three" anymore; it's "Farkle!". Instead of saying, "Nice Try", I hear the kids saying "Farkle!" when someone tries and doesn't succeed at something. It always brings a little smile to the person who was not quite successful. This game is very easy to understand and no matter how skilled someone thinks they are at a particular strategy, I like the fact that anyone can win each game ... it all depends on the roll of the dice! The best part about this game is that the kids now clean the kitchen table more quickly so we can play another round!

My son's Boy Scout troop played this game at their game night. They had so much fun! One player had played before but most were new. It took a few minutes to get in the groove but once they got going they got it figured out. They thought it was interesting how the last person to "get on the board" ended up being the winner 🏆!
