Many homeowners and even professional landscapers often overlook the importance of these landscape lighting products. These fixtures are powered by either 12-volt AC or DC current, a significant difference from older landscape systems that relied on magnetic transformers outputting 12 AC. With these older systems, incandescent lamps, primarily automotive lamps, were the only option, severely limiting lighting choices. In contrast, newer landscape lighting employs solid-state transformers that produce DC current, allowing for a broader range of fixtures compatible with DC, including incandescent but also the more efficient LED options that offer higher lumen output per watt of input. The Sunvie fixtures are remarkable as they can function with both old and new landscape transformers and power supplies, delivering much higher lumen output per watt consumed. While incandescent lamps typically produce 14 lumens per watt, these LED lamps can generate 65 to 75 lumens per watt, making these fixtures a more sensible choice. Additionally, their quality is exceptional.
Assembling and installing these lights was incredibly straightforward and hassle-free. I've incorporated them into my flower bed to provide adequate lighting during the night, enhancing the overall ambiance. Furthermore, I've also positioned them on my porch and directed them towards my garage, which has proven to be a smart investment. Their functionality and aesthetic appeal make them well worth the money spent, adding both convenience and charm to my outdoor spaces.
The SUNVIE spotlights have been a fantastic addition to my home. They're incredibly easy to install and provide just the right amount of light for my patio and garden. The lights are weatherproof and durable, standing up to the elements with no issues. Plus, the 120V power supply ensures that they're always ready to go when I need them. Overall, a great value for the money!
