Nice Quality, Great Solution

I just removed the finial from the rod and replaced it with this one - it fit perfectly! I'm using it with a homemade rod contraption over my outside mount vertical blinds. They hang pretty far out from the sliding door so there was a gap on both ends where the light would come in. Now I can wrap the curtains around the corners for more privacy. I needed some really short rods (only 6 inches), so I just cut some 3/4" PVC to slide over the end of this connector. The PVC now sits at a right angle to the rod and butts up against the wall, forming an angle rod. Works great!
