Do not take more than directed unless advised by your doctor. The bottle top is a measuring cap marked to contain 17 grams of powder when filled to the indicated line (white section in cap). This laxative works perfectly! It is very easy to use with the unusual measurement being included in the cap and a specially designed opening in the top to make pouring the powder very easy.
