1. Fill litter box with at least 3 inches of Feline Pine Original Cat Litter. 2. Scoop the solid waste daily, and gently shake the box so the good pellets float to the top and the sawdust drops to the bottom. Leave the sawdust in the box as it will still work to absorb moisture and odor. 3. When the box is about 90% sawdust it is time to dispose of it and start with new litter. Do not flush or put into drains. Put used litter into the trash.

Best litter.
I have multiple cats and am currently changing them over from clumping litter to the pine. They do still make a bit of a mess with it but it smells so much better and less cleaning is involved. I have a male that is an aggressive digger so he manages to knock the litter out of the box but that isn't a negative for the product.
